Abstract:
An energy storage system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a photovoltaic (PV) system and is linked to a power system. The energy storage system may comprise: a power conversion system (PCS) linked to the power system and selectively connected to the photovoltaic system; a first switch selectively connecting the photovoltaic system and a direct current terminal of the power conversion system; a first ground fault detector having one terminal connected to ground; a second switch positioned between the first switch and the photovoltaic system and selectively connecting the photovoltaic system and the other terminal of the first ground fault detector; and a switch control device for controlling the first switch and the second switch according to the power generation state of the photovoltaic system, and changing the ground structure of at least one battery system among the battery systems included in the photovoltaic system, the power conversion system, and the energy storage system.
