Abstract:

The invention provides an epoch-making technique which is capable of storing the inertial energy of a vehicle, which has heretofore been considered impossible, as an energy capable of exerting a force substantially large enough to start this vehicle. An energy storing device capable of storing energy and releasing this stored energy, the device comprising a base (1), a movable body (3) reciprocable with respect to this base (1), a magnet body (4) movable with the reciprocation of the movable body (3), wherein one or more such magnet bodies (4) are juxtaposed, the distance between juxtaposed magnet bodies (4) being reduced by the forward or backward movement of the movable body (3), the two or more magnet bodies (4) being juxtaposed such that their mutually repelling like poles are disposed adjacent each other, the arrangement being such that reducing the distance between the juxtaposed magnet bodies (4) by the forward or backward movement of the movable body (3) results in storing the energy of repulsion between the magnet bodies (4), while releasing the stored energy enables the movable body (3) to make a return movement.
