Abstract:
This energy treatment system is provided with: a power source for outputting a vibration generation power; an ultrasonic transducer for generating ultrasonic vibrations using the vibration generation power from the power source; a first gripping piece to which the ultrasonic vibrations generated by the ultrasonic transducer are transmitted; a second gripping piece that opens and closes relative to the first gripping piece; an electrical characteristic detection unit for detecting an electrical characteristic value of the ultrasonic transducer over time; a determination unit for determining that the electrical characteristic value has started gradually decreasing after a predetermined time from output of the vibration generation power by the power source at a first output power has elapsed; and an output control unit that changes, when the determination unit determines that the electrical characteristic value has started gradually decreasing, the vibration generation power from the power source from the first output power to a second output power that is lower than the first output power.
