Abstract:

An engine combustion improvement device and an engine combustion improvement method which enable the improvement of the combustion of an internal combustion engine such as a diesel engine, etc., particularly, enable the reduction of the discharged quantity of harmful waste such as black smoke, nitrogen oxides, etc. Two magnets (2) are so arranged close to each other in such a way that their respective poles face each other. Fuel which is supplied to the engine from a fuel tank is made to pass through a gap (3) between the poles. The magnetic force (attractive force or repulsive force) per unit area acting between the facing poles is not lower than 0.15 kgf/cm?2� and the time which is required for the fuel to pass the facing poles is not less than 1.7 seconds.
