Abstract:
An engine control device (1) is provided with: an engine (10) which drives a drive wheel (11); a three-phase starting generator (12) which is connected to a crank shaft (13) of the engine (10); and a control unit (40) which controls the engine (10) and the three-phase starting generator (12). The control unit (40) is configured to be able to set, upon detection of slippage of the drive wheel (11), an energization control mode of the three-phase starting generator (12) to a short brake mode in which output terminals (12a) of the three-phase starting generator (12) are short-circuited to generate braking force.
