Abstract:
This engine control device comprises: an injection command unit for outputting a fuel injection quantity command value; a first calculating unit for outputting a fuel injection quantity obtained by an FB calculation based on an engine rotational speed deviation, as a basic fuel injection quantity, to the injection command unit; and a second calculating unit for outputting a fuel injection quantity obtained by an FF calculation based on a current engine load of an engine, as an FF fuel injection quantity, to the injection command unit. If it is determined that a load application state has occurred in which the engine load, which was equal to or less than a specified value before a specified time, has increased by a variation threshold or more, the fuel injection quantity command value switches from a fuel injection quantity calculated by the injection command unit on the basis of the basic fuel injection quantity, to a fuel injection quantity calculated on the basis of a value obtained by adding the FF fuel injection quantity to the basic fuel injection quantity.
