Abstract:
An engine control device (1) with a supercharger (30) provided with a cylinder injection valve (11), a port injection valve (12) and a variable valve actuating mechanism (40) is provided. This engine control device is provided with an injection control means (3) which controls fuel injection through the cylinder injection valve (11) and fuel injection through the port injection valve (12) on the basis of the rotation speed (Ne) of the engine (10), and a variable valve actuating control means (5) which controls the variable valve actuating mechanism (40) on the basis of the rotation speed (Ne). The variable valve actuating control means (5) creates a valve overlap period in a first rotation speed region, and shortens the valve overlap period in a second rotation speed region in which the rotation speed (Ne) is higher than in the first rotation speed region. In the period of transition from the first rotation speed region to the second rotation speed region, the injection control means (3) performs cylinder injection and port injection and advances the fuel injection timing of the port injection valve (12).
