Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an effective technique for reducing PM emissions that is highly robust and avoids drawbacks such as knocking. This engine control device, which controls an engine connected to a supercharger and an intercooler which cools air downstream of the supercharger, is provided with a temperature control means for controlling the air temperature downstream of the intercooler, wherein, if the engine cooling water temperature and/or the engine lubricating oil temperature is equal to or lower than a set temperature, the temperature control means performs control to increase the air temperature downstream of the intercooler to be at least equal to the air temperature upstream of the supercharger.
