Abstract:
In an engine equipped with a fuel supply means (14) for supplying a fuel containing gasoline to a combustion chamber (6) and an ignition means (13) for igniting an air-fuel mixture, when the engine load is in a high-load region (A) which is higher than a prescribed load and ignition is carried out at a reference ignition timing that has been set more to the retarded-angle side than the MBT, which is the ignition timing at which the engine torque is highest, and knocking occurs, an ignition advanced-angle control is implemented, which causes the ignition means (13) to carry out ignition at a timing closer to the advanced-angle side than the reference ignition timing.
