Abstract:
A method for controlling an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle comprises the steps of determining a temperature of a clutch for transmitting a torque provided by the internal combustion engine, determining whether the temperature lies above a first threshold value and increasing the idle speed of the internal combustion engine.
