Abstract:
An engine cooling device (4) has a passage switching part (7) that is provided between an engine (2)/EGR cooler (3) and a radiator (6), and also provided between the engine/EGR cooler and a pump (5). The passage switching part includes: a first valve (20A) that allows coolant to flow through a first bypass passage (16) toward the pump if the temperature of the coolant is less than a first temperature, and allows the coolant to flow through a radiator connection passage (15) toward the radiator if the temperature of the coolant is equal to or greater than the first temperature; and a second valve (20B) that allows the coolant to flow through the first bypass passage if the temperature of the coolant is higher than the first temperature and less than a second temperature, and allows the coolant to flow through the radiator connection passage if the temperature of the coolant is equal to or greater than the second temperature. The number of first valves is less than the number of second valves.
