Abstract:
Provided is an engine device for an unmanned flying object, the engine device giving the aircraft body a favorable weight balance and being capable of cancelling out gyro effects and capable of autorotation of propellers. The engine device comprises: a first cylinder and a second cylinder which are disposed facing each other in the horizontal direction, wherein pistons inside the cylinders advance/retreat in opposite directions of each other; a first crankshaft and a second crankshaft which are disposed in the vertical direction and are respectively driven by the first cylinder and the second cylinder to rotate in opposite directions of each other; a first centrifugal clutch and a second centrifugal clutch which rotate in opposites directions of each other; a final drive shaft which transmits a rotating force to a gear mechanism composed of an orthogonal conversion gear that rotates a propeller shaft; and a one-way clutch which is disposed between the first crankshaft/second crankshaft and the final drive shaft, and which is driven by both the first crankshaft and the second crankshaft.
