Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of making it possible to attach, in a highly-rigid manner, an exhaust gas purification device (2) to an engine (1) as one constituent component of the engine (1). This engine device is provided with: an engine (1) having an intake manifold (6) and an exhaust manifold (7); and an exhaust gas purification device (2) for purifying the exhaust gas from the engine (1). The exhaust gas purification device (2) is mounted on the top part of the engine (1) via an attachment base. The section of the attachment base supporting one end of the exhaust gas purification device (2) is provided with an intake-side bracket (91) and an exhaust-side bracket (92). One end of the intake-side bracket (91) and one end of the exhaust-side bracket (92) are fastened to each other, and the other end of the intake-side bracket (91) and the other end of the exhaust-side bracket (92) are connected to the engine (1).
