Abstract:
In the engine device according to the invention of the present application, an aftertreatement device 20 for purifying exhaust gas from an engine 1 is provided in an exhaust gas pathway from the engine 1. A three-way catalyst 22 is used as the aftertreatement device 20. The engine device is provided with a filter case 31 with a built-in filter body 32 for collecting deposits from within the exhaust gas. The filter case 31 is disposed exchangeably in the exhaust gas pathway on the upstream side of the aftertreatement device 20.
