Abstract:
An engine device 1 is provided with: an EGR device 24 whereby a part of exhaust gas discharged from an exhaust manifold 4 is returned as EGR gas to an intake manifold 3; and an EGR cooler 27 for cooling the EGR gas and supplying the cooled EGR gas to the EGR device 24. The EGR cooler 27 is provided with: a heat exchange section 91 wherein cooling water flow passages and EGR gas flow passages are stacked alternately; and a left and right pair of flange sections 92, 93 provided at both left and right end portions of one side surface of the heat exchange section 91. An inlet and outlet for cooling water are respectively allocated to the flange sections 92, 93, and an inlet and outlet for the EGR gas are respectively allocated to the flange sections 92, 93.
