Abstract:
An engine device for which a flywheel housing 7 accommodating a flywheel that rotates integrally with a crankshaft 5 is arranged on one side part 303 of a cylinder block 6, wherein a housing bracket part 304, which protrudes in the direction away from the crankshaft 5 at the end on the one side part 303 side of the two side parts 301 of the cylinder block 6 along the crankshaft center 300 direction, is formed integrally on the cylinder block 6. The space surrounded by the one side part 303, the housing bracket part 304, and the flywheel housing 7 forms a gear case 330 accommodating a gear train.
