Abstract:
This engine exhaust apparatus is provided with the following: an exhaust passage through which exhaust emitted by an engine flows; a flow straightener that has a flow-straightening section in which the flow of the exhaust in the exhaust passage is straightened; and an exhaust-heat recovery device that is provided in the exhaust passage downstream of the flow straightener and has an exhaust-heat recovery section in which heat is recovered from the exhaust and a cooling section in which said exhaust-heat recovery section is cooled from the outside thereof via a cooling fluid. The exhaust passage has a first narrowing section that gradually narrows in the direction from the flow straightener to the exhaust-heat recovery device and a second narrowing section that gradually narrows in the downstream direction from the exhaust-heat recovery device.
