Title:
ENGINE EXHAUST-GAS PURIFICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/125870
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This exhaust-gas purification device for an engine (1) is provided with: a urea water injector (40) which supplies urea water to an upstream side of selective reduction-type catalysts (34) provided to an exhaust pipe (30) of the engine (1), and which reduces and purifies nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas by causing ammonia generated by subjecting the urea water to hydrolysis in the exhaust pipe (30) to flow into the selective reduction-type catalysts (34); and a low-pressure exhaust-gas recirculation passage (45) in which exhaust gas from the exhaust pipe (30) is introduced and recirculated into an air inlet pipe (20) of the engine (1). In accordance with a reduction in the temperature of exhaust gas inside the exhaust pipe (30) between the urea water injector (40) and the selective reduction-type catalysts (34), the supply amount of the urea water is reduced and the recirculation amount of the exhaust gas is increased.
