Abstract:
An NH3 supply amount control unit that reduces and corrects the amount of NH3 supplied to an SCR catalyst by an NH3 supply unit, when exhaust gas flowing into an NOX catalyst has a rich air-fuel ratio and the NOX occluded by the NOX catalyst is reduced to N2. The amount that the NH3 supply is reduced by the NH3 supply amount control unit is set so as to increase as the flowrate of exhaust gas detected or estimated by an exhaust gas flowrate detection unit increases.
