Abstract:
In an engine fastening structure comprising a crank case and a cylinder body that are separate bodies joined by joining bolts , a crank case (2) is constructed such that a bearing member (12b) of ferroalloy supporting a crank shaft bearing is enveloped in an aluminum alloy casting, joining bosses (12c) extending toward the cylinder body are integrally formed on both sides of the bearing member (12b) of ferroalloy with the cylinder axis therebetween as seen in the direction of the crank shaft, and the joining bolts (30a) are threadedly inserted into the joining bosses (12c).
