Abstract:
An engine having a yin-yang symbol-shaped component comprises a crankshaft (1), connecting rods (2), and pistons (3). The crankshaft (1) is provided with a crank journal (4) and a number of connecting rod journals (5), wherein the number of connecting rod journals (5) is greater than or equal to two and is an even number. One half of the connecting rod journals (5) are disposed on one side in an axial direction of the crank journal (4), and the other half of the connecting rod journals (5) are disposed on the other side in the axial direction of the crank journal (4). Axial projections of the connecting rod journals (5) on the one side in the axial direction of the crank journal (4) and axial projections of the connecting rod journals (5) on the other side in the axial direction of the crank journal (4) form an angle of 180 degrees relative to the axis of the crank journal (4). Each connecting rod journal (5) corresponds to one connecting rod (2). A round slider mounting hole (6) is disposed at a central position of one end of the connecting rod (2), and one yin-yang symbol-shaped, or two-fish-shaped, slider (8) is mounted in each slider mounting hole (6). The connecting rod journals (5) of the engine are balanced at the two sides in the axial direction of the crank journal (4), and move as balanced swinging arms on the two sides of the axis of the crank journal (4) of the crankshaft (1), resembling the arms of a person. The invention has a reduced overall size and the lowered overall center of gravity, and runs smoothly. Torque generated by the pistons (3) on the two sides mutually cancels out, greatly reducing vibrations and noise, facilitating an increase in rotating speed, and reducing fuel consumption.
