An engine intake air dust removal system and method, comprising an intake air dust removal system inlet (1011), an intake air dust removal system outlet, an air intake electric field apparatus (1014), and a centrifugal separation mechanism (1012). The engine intake air dust removal system and method can effectively remove particles in air which is about to enter an engine, so that the air entering the engine is cleaner.
