Title:
ENGINE-MOUNTED AUTONOMOUS FLYING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/065848
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an autonomous flying device in which a large payload and long continuous flying time are ensured, and the position and orientation during flight can be reliably adjusted. This autonomous flying device 10 is equipped with: a main rotor 14A, etc., that provides primary propulsion; a sub-rotor 15A, etc., that controls orientation; an engine 30 that generates the energy with which the main rotor 14A, etc., and the sub-rotor 15A, etc., rotate; and a calculation control device 31 that controls the rotation of the sub-rotor 15A, etc. Also, the main rotor 14A, etc., rotates by being dynamically connected to the engine 30, whereas the sub-rotor 15A, etc., rotates due to a motor that is driven with power generated by a generator 16A, etc., operated by the engine 30. Furthermore, when the orientation is controlled so as to incline the fuselage, the calculation control device 31 increases the output distribution ratio of the sub-rotor 15A so as to be greater than during hovering.
