Abstract:

Provided is an engine mounting structure comprising an engine bracket (1) attached to the engine side, and a vibration preventing device (2) including an outer cylinder (7) fixed on the body side, an inner cylinder (6) fitted with the leading end portion of the engine bracket being inserted thereinto, and a rubber elastic member (8) interposed between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder. An engine bracket inserting hole (9) is formed in the inner cylinder, and is arranged with an offset to the side of the engine bracket from a mounting center (L) of the inner cylinder on the rubber elastic member. The natural frequency of the bracketextending from the engine side can be largely deviated from that of the engine, and the weight can be reduced.
