Abstract:

This engine peripheral structure is provided with an engine body (1) installed in an engine room (11), an intake system (6) connected to the engine body (1), and a supercharger (17) provided midway along the intake system (6). The intake system (6) includes a low-pressure intake passage (15a) connected upstream of the supercharger (17) in an intake direction, and a high-pressure intake passage (15b) connected downstream of the supercharger (17) in the intake direction. In the intake system (6), the high-pressure intake passage (15b) is folded back relative to the low-pressure intake passage (15a) at the supercharger (17), and at least part each of the low-pressure intake passage (15a) and the high-pressure intake passage (15b) extend overlapping one another in a vertical direction V on a left-side surface (1d) of the engine body (1).
