Abstract:
An engine restart control device that is installed in a vehicle equipped with a brake system and an engine, said restart control device being equipped with: a negative pressure detection unit that detects booster negative pressure; an engine restart control unit that restarts the engine after the engine has stopped; and a storage unit that stores the booster negative pressure detected by the negative pressure detection unit. The engine restart control unit restarts the engine when the booster negative pressure has decreased by at least a first set value from a reference booster negative pressure that is stored in the storage unit and is detected at a specific time after the engine has stopped.
