Abstract:
Provided is an engine startup control device for controlling the inertial rotation of a rotating electrical machine, wherein a first control step is performed in which an engine stop action is executed after a throttle valve enters a fully closed state and the rotating electrical machine is allowed to rotate by inertia. The engine startup control device comprises the following: a second control step in which, when the rotating electrical machine is rotating by inertia, a determination is made as to whether it is possible to stop a piston in a prescribed stop region; and a third control step in which, when it has been determined in the second control step that the piston can be stopped in the prescribed stop region, the inertial rotation of the rotating electrical machine is stopped so that the piston stops within the prescribed stop range.
