Abstract:
This engine system is provided with: an engine main body; a fuel supply unit that generates a water emulsion fuel and supplies the result to a fuel injection valve; an EGR unit that supplies EGR gas to the engine main body; and a control device that controls so that the water emulsion fuel is used in all areas of the actual engine load and controls the flow rate of the EGR gas so that the amount of NOx emissions that are discharged from the engine main body is equal to or less than a predetermined value.
