Abstract:
This engine system comprises a fuel tank, an internal combustion engine, an electric generator, a recoil starter, a control unit, an injector, a fuel pump, an ignition device, and a detection unit that detects the internal combustion engine speed and the like. The control unit determines whether or not the internal combustion engine will be able to autonomously rotate on the basis of the engine speed and the like during the start-up period of the internal combustion engine by the recoil starter. If the internal combustion engine cannot autonomously rotate, power is not supplied to the ignition device, injector or fuel pump. If the internal combustion engine is able to autonomously rotate, power is supplied to the ignition device, injector and fuel pump.
