Abstract:
An engine system (1) is provided with an ammonia engine (2), a reformer (13) which reforms ammonia gas to generate reformed gas containing hydrogen, and a control unit (32). The control unit (32) includes: a first control portion (35) which controls closing of main injectors (5) and a reform injector (16) when instructed to stop the ammonia engine (2); a second control portion (36) which, after the control processing by the first control portion has been executed, controls opening of a main throttle valve (6) and a reform throttle valve (15) and causes the ammonia engine (2) to be cranked; and a third control portion (37) which controls closing of the main throttle valve (6) and the reform throttle valve (15) after the control processing by the second control portion (36) has been executed.
