Abstract:
Provided is an engine unit provided with an electronically controlled stepless transmission device (30) that uses a dry belt (32), with which the fuel consumption of the engine unit can be further improved while preventing thermal degradation of the dry belt (32). In the electronically controlled stepless transmission device (30) of the engine unit shown in (a), a rotational force conversion mechanism (72) is disposed in a position that does not overlap a rotation area CW of a crank web (21a) even when viewed from any direction perpendicular to the crank rotation axis Ac. A conversion contact part (70), with which a relative movement part (73) and a rotation part (74) come into contact, is disposed in a lubrication space (22c) formed by a crank case (22), so as to be exposed to the lubrication space (22c). Two seal members (22d, 44d) are disposed on the electronically controlled stepless transmission device (30). Ten seal members (103, 107, 112a, 114, 116a, 122b, 122b, 126b, 126b, 107a) are disposed on an electronically controlled stepless transmission device (100) of a comparative example in (b).
