Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a device that makes it possible to diagnose seizing of an electromagnetic clutch without the provision of an expander-rotational-speed sensor or a current sensor. [Solution] This engine waste-heat utilization device is provided with a first pressure-detecting means (73) and a first temperature-detecting means (81) that detect the pressure and temperature in a refrigerant channel from a condenser (38) to a refrigerant pump (32), a second pressure-detecting means (72) and a second temperature-detecting means (82) that detect the pressure and temperature in a refrigerant channel from a heat exchanger (36) to an expander (37), and a controlling means (71) that, when running a Rankine cycle (31), uses the pressures and temperatures detected by the four detecting means. A means (71) that diagnoses seizing of an electromagnetic clutch (35) on the basis of either the pressure and temperature detected by the first pressure-detecting means (73) and the first temperature-detecting means (81) or the pressure and temperature detected by the second pressure-detecting means (72) and the second temperature-detecting means (82) is provided.
