Abstract:
An engine for a working machine is provided with: a combustion chamber (8) which inhales and explodes an air-fuel mixture; a piston (4) which reciprocates by explosion pressure generated in the combustion chamber (8); a crankshaft (16) which is linked to the piston (4), converts the reciprocating motion of the piston (4) into a rotational motion, and outputs the rotational motion; a fuel tank (56) which stores an ethanol fuel, 90% or more of the capacity of which is constituted by ethanol; and a carburetor (100) which is connected to both the fuel tank (56) and the combustion chamber (8), mixes the ethanol fuel into flowing air by the action of negative pressure in the combustion chamber (8), and generates the air-fuel mixture, 8.5% or more of the mass of which is occupied by the fuel.
