Abstract:
A liquid ammonia is supplied into a combustion chamber (2) of a gas turbine engine (1), and a turbine (3) is driven by combusting the liquid ammonia. A NOx selective reduction catalyst (9) is arranged in an exhaust passage of the gas turbine engine (1). The liquid ammonia is supplied into an intake air flowing into a compressor (4), so that the intake air is cooled by the liquid ammonia, and NOx contained in the exhaust gas is reduced by unburnt ammonia, which is discharged into the exhaust passage, at the NOx selective reduction catalyst (9).
