Abstract:
An ECU of this engine is provided with: a physical quantity calculation unit that calculates an ignition delay time on the basis of an engine rotation speed detected by a rotation speed detection unit, an injection amount detected by an injection amount detection unit, and a coolant temperature detected by a coolant temperature detection unit; a physical quantity acquisition unit that acquires an ignition delay time on the basis of an intra-cylinder pressure detected by an intra-cylinder sensor; and an injection timing calculation unit that calculates a fuel injection timing on the basis of a difference between the ignition delay time calculated by the physical quantity calculation unit and the ignition delay time acquired by the physical quantity acquisition unit. This configuration enables performing control on combustion condition while taking into account factors causing combustion variation.
