Abstract:
An engineering tool (1) for a programmable display device (2), said engineering tool (1) being provided with: an internal device search unit (31) which acquires data indicating devices or labels from the programmable display device (2), and searches the acquired data for both first data indicating internal devices, which are devices used when the programmable display device (2) operates, and second data indicating labels representing the internal devices; and a list display processing unit (32) which reads, from the programmable display device (2), device values associated with the internal devices indicated by the first data, and device values associated with the labels indicated by the second data, and causes a display unit (11) to display these read device values.
