Abstract:
The present invention relates to an engraving apparatus using a high-energy pulse laser beam, and more specifically, an engraving apparatus using a pulse laser beam for engraving an identifiable and unique ID in a relevant object made of a steel strip or a high-strength steel strip using a pulse laser beam comprising: optical fiber from which laser is generated; and a beam condensing part for connecting while minimizing optical loss in an optical transmission multimode optical cable for transmitting the laser beam to an irradiating unit, so as to engrave a vehicle identification number for a vehicle including numbers and text which indicate information such as the make, the vehicle classification, the vehicle type, the specific vehicle type, the shape of vehicle body, the form of safety devices, the amount of exhaust, the position of the driver's seat, the production year, and the production factory. The engraving apparatus is provided with a head protection cover for preventing damage to an engraving apparatus head.
