Abstract:
The invention pertains to the field of treating flat or slightly convex surfaces of relatively small articles by engraving, in particular when carrying out artistic or decorative work. The engraving bench includes a body, a base, vertical mounts and transverse walls, horizontal and vertical working platens, a box for blanks, a blank feeding device, a box for packaging, a magnetic punching head, mechanisms for advancing the working platens, a device for holding a blank during the engraving cycle process, a device for discharging the finished article and the packaging at the end of the working cycle, positioning and monitoring sensors, and an electronic control unit. The horizontal working platen bears on the transverse walls, while the vertical working platen bears on the vertical mounts.
