Title:
ENTEROBACTERIACEAE BACTERIA EXHIBITING INCREASED L-CYSTEINE PRODUCING ABILITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/148377
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Enterobacteriaceae bacteria modified in a matter such that O-acetylserine sulfhydrylase B activity declines, the enterobacteriaceae bacteria being characterized by being modified so as to have the C-terminal region of a thiosulfuric-acid-binding protein deleted therefrom, and in that the L-cysteine producing ability is increased when in the presence of a sulfate. Using this enterobacteriaceae bacteria makes it possible to inexpensively and efficiently produce L-cysteine.
