Title:
ENTEROCOCCUS FAECALIS HAVING RESISTANCE TO CEPHALOSPORIN AND HIGH EXPRESSION OF SIRTUIN 2-LIKE PROTEIN AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/082220
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are an Enterococcus faecalis having resistance to cephalosporin and high expression of sirtuin 2-like protein and the use thereof. The Enterococcus faecalis EF23 having resistance to cephalosporin and high expression of Sir2-like protein is deposited in the Preservation Center of Wuhan University, China Center for Type Culture Collection under the deposit number of CCTCC NO: M 2018012, the deposit address being Luojiashan, Wuchang, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and the deposit date being 8 January 2018. Through the experiment it has been found that the Enterococcus faecalis EF23 having resistance to cephalosporin and high expression of Sir2-like protein can enhance aerobic oxidation of glucose in cells, increase mitochondrial respiration, and regulate ATP energy metabolic pathways, thereby realizing the treatment of various metabolism-related diseases, such as cell senescence, mitochondrial dysfunction and metabolic syndrome.
