Abstract:
Provided are an envelope virus inactivator having a high inactivation effect on an envelope virus even if being used under mild conditions such as a low concentration and a short contact time, a composition for inactivating an envelope virus, and a method for inactivating an envelope virus. (a) An envelope virus inactivator that contains, as an active ingredient, an anionic surfactant having a critical micelle concentration of 0.2 × 10-3 mol/L to 2.0 × 10-3 mol/L inclusive at 25°C and a Kraft point of 5°C or lower and carrying a sulfonic acid group, a sulfate group or a salt of such a substituent.
