Abstract:
A reply−paid envelope that can also be used as a reply envelope and that is so designed that when it is to be used as a reply envelope, there is no danger of confusion as to addresses, names or appellations, approvals by post offices, etc., between the original sender and the reply sender. For original mail, an envelope−opening tongue (5) is folded onto the outer side of a front sheet (1b) and joined to the front sheet (1b) to close an opening (4), whereby sealing is effected for original mail. On the other hand, for reply mail, the joint between the envelope−opening tongue (5) and the front sheet (1b) is broken to open the upper opening (4), whereupon the envelope−opening tongue (5) is inserted in the opening (4) and joined to the front sheet (1b) to close the opening (4), whereby sealing is effected for reply mail.
