Abstract:

An environment control system (1) that controls the environment of a space (3) in which a user (2) does intellectual work and that comprises a control unit (110) that, by controlling one or more piece of illumination equipment that emits illumination light that illuminates a prescribed region of the space (3) and one or more piece of air-conditioning equipment that air conditions the space (3), performs scene control for forming one or more predetermined scenes in the space (3). The one or more scenes include a concentration scene that makes the user (2) concentrate on the intellectual work and a rest scene that eases the concentration of the user (2). When prescribed conditions have been met, the control unit (110) switches between concentration scene control that is scene control for forming the concentration scene and rest scene control that is scene control for forming the rest scene.
