Abstract:
The present invention relates to an environmentally-friendly aquatic plant growing stand that allows aquatic plants that grow near water or in water to be planted without soil or sand, allows the stem portions of aquatic plants to be supported in an upright position, and allows the roots to grow outside the body of the stand in order to induce natural plant growth. In particular, the present invention purports to provide an environmentally-friendly aquatic plant growing stand having a novel structure capable of not only inducing the natural growth of stems and roots of aquatic plants in water, but firmly supporting aquatic plants so that the stems thereof do not float in water or lean to the sides. The aquatic plant growing stand is made of ceramic, glass, crystal, metal, or various other materials so that an aquatic plant can be planted in a planting implement such as a basin-type small dish, vessel, cup, pot, transparent glass vessel, aquarium, or artificial pond, even without sand or soil. The aquatic plant growing stand has a structure in which a stem fixing cap is detachably coupled to a stand body portion, wherein the bottom surface of a supporting body of the stem fixing cap and the surface of an entrance of a fastening hole of the stand body portion are each made to have a structure in which a tapered surface is formed sloping downward. At the same time, a gap is secured between the inner circumference of the fastening hole of the stand body portion and the outer circumferences of a first cap and a second cap, so that when each cap is raised or lowered along the tapered surface of the body portion, the size of a holding through-hole, that is a central planting hole of each cap, can be freely adjusted.
