Abstract:
An environmentally-friendly developer and a manufacturing method therefor. The environmentally-friendly developer comprises a petroleum-based resin, a bio-resin, a colorant, and a release agent. Particles of the release agent are uniformly distributed in particles of the bio-resin, and the particles of the bio-resin containing the particles of the release agent are uniformly distributed in particles of the petroleum-based resin. The manufacturing method includes: a pre-mixing step, in which a bio-resin and a release agent are mixed in a high-speed mixer; a powder-making step, in which materials obtained in the above step are melt blended in and extruded from a twin screw extruder, fast cooled, and crushed by a coarse crusher to obtain powder with a particle diameter of 0.1-2 mm and in which particles of the release agent are uniformly distributed in particles of the bio-resin; a re-mixing step, in which the powder, a petroleum-based resin, a colorant, and a charge control agent are mixed in the high-speed mixer, the mixed materials are melt blended in and extruded from the twin screw extruder, fast cooled, and coarse crushed by the coarse crusher to obtain materials with a granularity of 0.1-2 mm; the materials pass through an air flow pulverizing grader to obtain a micro powder having a volume distribution of a diameter of 6-15 microns; the percentage of the amount of particles having a diameter greater than 5 microns in the micro powder is 60-90%; an adding step, in which the micro powder and external additives are mixed in the high-speed mixer, and are sieved and graded to remove coarse particles.
