Abstract:
The invention pertains to an enzymatic biocathode containing biomass based on glucose, monosaccharide, ketone or aldehyde, characterized in that it comprises: - a collector conductor support; - conductive particles disposed on and connected to said collector conductor support; - an aldose reductase disposed on said conductive particles, being connected thereto by adsorption and accessible at the surface to the glucose, monosaccharide, ketone or aldehyde reagent that is to be reduced when the biocathode is operational.
