Claims:
CLAIMS
1. A preserved and/or conserved water based paint composition comprising an oxidoreductase, an oxidizing agent, a binder and at least 10% w/w water.
2. A preserved and/or conserved water based fluid composition for use in the recovery of fossil oil and/or gas from drilling sites selected from the group consisting of drilling fluids, completion fluids, fracturing fluids, injection fluids, blocking gels and workover fluids said fluids comprising an oxidoreductase, an oxidizing agent and a biopolymer.
3. The composition of claims 1 or 2, wherein the oxidoreductase is a laccase.
4. The composition of claim 3, wherein the laccase is obtained from a strain selected from the group consisting of Rhizoctonia, Coprinus, Schytalidium, Myceliophthora and Polyporus.
5. The composition of claims 1 or 2, wherein the oxidoreductase is a peroxidase.
6. The composition of claim 5, wherein the peroxidase is obtained from a strain of Coprinus.
7. The composition of claims 1 or 2, wherein the oxidoreductase is a haloperoxidase.
8. The composition of claim 7, wherein the haloperoxidase is obtained from a strain selected from Curvularia, Drechslera, Dendryphiella, Alternaria, Phaeotrichoconis and Geniculosporium.
9. The composition of claim 8, wherein the haloperoxidase is obtained from a strain selected from Curvularia verruculosa CBS 147.63, Curvularia verruculosa CBS 444.70, Curvularia inaequalis CBS 102.42, Drechslera hartlebii DSM 13444, Dendryphiella salina DSM 13443, Phaeotrichoconis crotalarie DSM 13441 and Geniculosporium sp. DSM 13442.
10. The composition of any of the preceding claims further comprising at least one enhancer.
11. The composition of claim 11 comprising two or more enhancers.
12. The composition of claims 10 and 11 wherein the enhancer is an organic compound.
13. The composition of claim 12 wherein the organic enhancer is selected from the formulas:.
14. The composition of claim 13, comprising 1 to 1000 pM of the organic enhancer.
15. The composition of claim 12 wherein the organic enhancer is an ammonium enhancer of the formula: R1 HN R2.
16. The composition of claim 14, comprising 0.011000 mM of the ammonium enhancer.
17. The composition of claims 10 and 11 wherein the oxidoreductase is a haloperoxidase and the enhancer is an inorganic compound selected from and inorganic halide ions.
18. The composition of claim 16 comprising inorganic halide ions selected from 0.05500 mM chloride ions and 0.01100 mM bromide or iodide ions.
19. The composition of any preceding claims comprising between about 0.01 to about 1000 mg enzyme protein per liter composition.
20. The composition of any preceding claims comprising 1090% w/w water.
21. The composition of any preceding claims comprising 550% w/w of binder.
22. The composition of any preceding claims comprising 0.001 500 mM of oxidizing agent.
23. The composition of any of the preceding claims further comprising one or more components selected from solvents, pigments, fillers, viscosifiers, dispersants, foam suppressors and siccatives.
