Abstract:
An epoxy resin obtained by reacting an epoxy resin monomer having a mesogenic skeleton and two glycidyl groups in each molecule, with a divalent phenol compound having two hydroxyl groups as substituents in one benzene ring, said epoxy resin having a number-average molecular weight as measured by gel permeation chromatography between 600 to 2,500 inclusive.
