Abstract:
An equal-diameter trommel apparatus and method for fresh tea leaf grading. A trommel (7) of the equal-diameter trommel apparatus for fresh tea leaf grading is installed at an incline, wherein various segments of the trommel (7) have the same length and diameter. The invention can display and adjust a work parameter. An air outlet of an air separation fan (4-4) is positioned below a feed conveyor belt (4-3) of a feed mechanism (4). An air outlet of the screen cleaning fan (8) is positioned above the trommel (7). The equal-diameter structural design improves the rate and speed of a grading process. A controller (5) monitors and controls a work process, thereby improving the precision of the grading process while reducing labor intensity. The air separation fan (4-4) separates a leaf and a bud, thereby realizing preliminary grading. The screen cleaning fan (8) blows a fresh tea leaf blocking a screen opening into the trommel (7), thereby reducing screen blockage and improving the rate and speed of the grading process. A filter screen (7-2) can be replaced to adapt to different grading requirements. The invention is able to adjust and control an angle of inclination and turning speed of the trommel and a feed rate of a material.
