Abstract:
An equal pitch groove working machine of this invention includes transfer means (10), (40) for transferring continuously a workpiece (100) in its axial direction, a machining tool (23) equipped with a blade (23a) having a thickness corresponding to the width of a groove to be machined at the outer peripheral portion extending along the orbit of a spiral and driven and rotated with the center of the spiral as the center and control means (70), (80) for operating synchronously the machining tool (23), (33) with the transfer means (10), (40) so that the workpiece (100) can be transferred by one normal pitch of the spiral while the machining tool (23), (33) rotates once. An equal pitch groove is formed on the workpiece (100) by the blade (23a) of the machining tool (23), (33).
